Family

project21David and his wife Sarah have been married for 8 years. They have a son, Phinehas and daughter, Evangeline. They are both actively involved at FBC Colleyville where they attend on a regular basis.

David and Sarah are originally from the Central Mississippi area where their extended family currently live. They moved to the DFW MetroPlex in 2006 in order to pursue additional education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

David and Sarah have a calling to fulltime ministry and are currently involved in a missions and evangelistic ministry called Globe Outreach. The Fedele’s started Globe Outreach in 2003 as an answer to God’s leading and affirmation to new ministry.

At this time Globe Outreach was launched David had been serving as Student and College Pastor at Highland Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Their time in Laurel was both exciting and challenging. David gives credit to this ministry as, “being a preparation time for the ministry to come.” It was from this place in life and ministry that the Lord called David and Sarah to step out in faith to engage in the ministry they now have.

In recent years, the Fedele’s efforts have been revolved around the missions. This effort has included mission education, partnerships, short-term projects, training and church strengthening. While with Globe Outreach, David and Sarah have traveled to nearly 10 countries around the world sharing the Gospel and discipling believers.

Currently, through Globe Outreach, David and Sarah along with a number of staff are reaching far and wide to establish long-term ministry partnerships in order to make an impact on this world for the Kingdom. These partnerships include work being done in East Asia, Central America, South Central Africa, the Inland Northwest and other areas of the United States. Ministry

project3David Fedele began to serve the Lord in 1997 after becoming a Christian in 1994.  David’s early ministry days found their roots planted in student and college ministry as a result of the many influences God placed in his life.  During the past 11 years David has served as a staff member of several churches.  David’s most recent church staff position was atHighland Baptist Church in Laurel Mississippi where he served for almost three years as Associate Pastor or Student and College Ministry.

While David’s ministry found its beginning in student and college ministry David has always been deeply involvement in missions and evangelism.  During the 1999 and 2000 years David had the privileged of serving as a traveler with The Traveling Team, a missions mobilization ministry based in Conway Arkansas.  During his years with The Traveling Team, David traveled to college campuses all over the United States sharing God’s vision and passion for the nations while recruiting students to give their lives for the cause of Christ among the peoples of the world.  This ministry was instrumental for David and served to deepen his passion for missions while strengthen his love for the local church and the lost around the world.

After leaving The Traveling Team in 2000, David moved back to Mississippi where he met his future wife Sarah and they were married a short time later.  It was during this time that God affirmed David’s call back to church ministry and to future education.  David attended and graduated from William Carey College in Hattiesburg Mississippi, now known as William Carey University.

In 2003, while David served at Highland Baptist Church in Laurel Mississippi, God affirmed his calling on David’s life to full time missions and evangelism.  It was at that time David resigned as Student and College Pastor in order to travel full time as a missionary evangelist.  These days were full of wonderful fruit as David began to partner with ministries all over the United States and the world in order to engage the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  As a result of this passion and vision God lead David and Sarah to begin what is now known as Globe Outreach, a missions mobilization and discipleship ministry.

Currently, David works in areas all over the United States and the world teaching and training the church and evangelizing those without the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  While many of these partnerships have changed since the inception of Globe Outreach there are a few that God has allowed David and his team to work with in a long term capacity.  These partnerships include work being done in parts of the United States, Africa, Asia and Central and South America.  Along with this work David is committed to his local church, FBC Colleyville in Colleyville Texas, where he teaches a weekly adult Bible study class called The Passion Class.  This class serves as a teaching and discipleship platform for David’s ministry.  At this time David is teaching through books of the Bible in and expository fashion.  Recently, David completed an 18 month study of the Gospel of John and has just begun a his newest study on 1 & 2 Peter.

As a result of these years in ministry David is constantly seeking the know the Lord Jesus in a deeper and more passionate way.  His ministry, he says, “…continues to be a great love in my life for which Christ has called me to serve until he returns.”
